Meet Our Team

Bill (Senior HVAC Fabricator)

Bill started with First Metals in May of 2021 and has been an integral part of the fabrication team since he began. Bill began as a fabricator through the Union and developed his skills through an accelerated 2 year apprenticeship program. From there, he has gained over 30 years of experience and on the job training to make him the skilled fabricator he is today. Bill enjoys collecting vinyl records and enjoys spending time with his wife of 35 years.

Mike (Shop Manager)

Mike started with First Metals 3 years ago and has been a critical part of the team ever since. He began as a fabricator many years ago and has gained over 30 years of experience since then. At the shop, he is in charge of the more challenging fabrication work that we take on, and acts as the Shop Manager as well.

Ivon (Junior Fabricator)

Ivon started with First Metals in September of 2021 and brings several years of experience to his current position. Here at First Metals, he is responsible for cutting, bending, and wrapping metal as well as other fabrication activities. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games and some good tacos.

Margareth Chavez (Administrator)

Margareth started working with First Metals in April 2022 and brings experience in the banking industry, a background in HR, and management expertise. Since joining, Margareth has been an invaluable member of the team, assisting with the estimation process, data entry, and communicating with our customers in both English and Spanish.

Devon Zeller (Sales Manager)

Devon started working with First Metals in June 2020 and graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a degree in Business Administration. Devon played baseball for the school and was a 4-year letter winner, as well as a 2-time all-conference pitcher. Devon brings over 15 years of experience, working in various capacities such as sales, distribution, and procurement for exterior cladding, commercial roofing, HVAC, and concrete industries. When Devon is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids, golfing, mountain biking, snowboarding, camping, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors. Not to mention, Devon is a certified scuba diver!

Dan Stewart (Accountant)

Dan started in August of 2021 and since joining he has helped in tax preparation, created a binning system for inventory control, and helped develop standard operating procedures for various tasks. Has been an accountant for over 20 years and has worked for INC 500 companies and has a bachelor's degree from Doame University in Lincoln Nebraska. Dan has 2 kids and enjoys spending time with his kids and his dogs Burke and Freya.

Adria Sutliff (Marketing Specialist)

Adria started at First Metals in May of 2021 and attended the University of Washington where she graduated with a degree in HR and Marketing. Adria has been critical in updating our web page design and has created many of our company graphics and forms. Adria has a dog named Prim who she enjoys spending time and playing with. She also enjoys attending Kraken and Thunderbird hockey games with her family as they are season ticket holders.

Owen McCord (Marketing & Business Development Manager)

Owen started at First Metals in June of 2021 and attended the University of Washington where he graduated with a degree in Marketing and Supply Chain. Owen started out working in operations as an intern, then transitioned to a marketing role where he also assists in research and development. He enjoys snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, Mariner games, and spending time with his family and friends in his hometown of Bellingham.

Danny Greismer (General Manager)

Danny started working at First Metals in February of 2021. He has over a decade of management experience across multiple industries with a broad range of skillsets and competencies including process development & implementation, team building, business strategy, and visual marketing. While somewhat new to the construction industry, Danny is able to provide fresh ideas and new ways to address recurring problems that may not have been tried before. In his personal life, Danny is an avid outdoorsmen and photographer who enjoys many different activities including hiking/backpacking, wildlife-tracking, and his latest interest…Mountain biking.
